Micromax launches Canvas A1 (2nd Gen) AQ4502 at Rs 6,039

Indian handset maker Micromax has expanded its Canvas series with the launch of Canvas A1 AQ4502. Priced at Rs 6,039 the smartphone is the successor of Canvas A1 AQ4501, Micromax's Android One series phone, which was launched in September 2014.
The new Canvas A1 AQ4502 handset features a 4.5-inch (480x854p) IPS display. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6582 SoC processor, the phone comes with 1 GB RAM. The dual-sim smartphone has 8GB of built-in storage. Users can expand the storage up to 32GB via microSD card.
Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. Powered by a 1,700mAh battery, the phone offers 160 hours of standby time and 6 hours of talk time.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the latest Android version offered by Google. On connectivity front, the smartphone offers 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and A-GPS connectivity.
Compared to its predecessor Canvas A1 AQ4501, Micromax's latest handset has twice the internal storage (8GB), while the rest of the features remain the same.
