Samsung has developed the in-house Tizen operating system, and we even saw the entry-level Samsung Z1 in some developing markets.
According to a new rumor, Samsung is working on yet another Tizen-based handset called the Samsung Z3, which is expected to see the light of the day later this year.
The handset doesn’t bring top-of-the-line specifications, but is more of a budget-friendly handset. The alleged device will feature specifications similar to the Galaxy Core with the major difference being the screen size — the alleged Samsung Z3 will come with a 5-inch display.
Other rumored features for the handset includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera with flash for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2,000 mAh battery to make sure you get a decent battery time.
The handset is expected to launch in the second half of 2015, so it seems we may get to see the alleged device in the coming weeks. We’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially announced.
